An enchanting painting of a spaniel in a cobbled yard by Danish artist Christian Zeuthen. Signed, dated 1863 and presented in its original attractive frame.
Zeuthen studied at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen and made his debut with a solo exhibition in 1837. He regularly participated in Charlottenborg up until 1884. The museum of Copenhagen hold works by Zeuthen in their collection.
Condition
Slight craquelure to the paint surface, touching in to minor blemishes.
