A fabulous first edition calendar for 1898 illustrated with lithographs showing quintessentially English sports, with verses by Rudyard Kipling. It is rare to find a complete set as the books are usually broken up and the plates framed and sold individually.
Condition
Generally in very good order. The cloth spine is worn and there is a small tear to the front cover bottom left. The paper has mellowed with age. Due to the lack of tissue guards when the book was first published the prints and text have left imprints on the facing pages.
